"Horrible experience. I do not understand how this hotel has such high reviews!
Room was not clean. Spots on carpet. Damaged furniture. Black mold in tub. One of the two beds was broken. The broken bed made a loud, metal clanging noise every time you moved, so we had to hear it all night long. Pool had strange spots in the water. Chlorine smell was overwhelming. Both doors from pool to lobby were propped open with chairs AND the door from the pool to the outside patio was propped open with a chair. Shoes, clothes, towels and trash were everywhere in the pool area. After seeing the water and smelling the fumes we decided not to swim. There was also a person near our room that was having continued loud arguments on the phone all evening and night-1am and 3am we were awaken to him yelling. Children running, jumping, slamming doors and knocking on doors until midnight. After checking in and seeing and hearing these issues we went back down and asked to be moved. We were told they were sold out so they couldn't move us. I showed her the photos of the room and explained about the man yelling. She was very sweet and agreed that it was unacceptable and said she would talk to the manager about giving us a discount since we couldn't move. The next morning at checkout I spoke to a different woman who said there were no notes on our account about a refund or complaints. She took my # and said the manager would call-they never did. "
