"The property is better than expected, staff - excellent. Super minor issue - when we checked in, we told them we don’t need room service during our 2-night stay. The person who checked us in said they don’t provide room service. The next day, as we were getting ready to head out, the cleaning staff came to clean our room to which we said we didn’t need. "Spotlessly clean. We had a castle view which was great. Close to the river. 15min walk to the castle & convent. Good resturants & shopping options nearby Right on the Camino Portuguese which was perfect for us. No lift, so youll have to carry your bags up stairs to your room "

There is a chapel on the lower floor where our group had daily mass with the priest that led our family pilgrimage. The area is easily walkable and close to Fatima. "I had the whole property to myself as I stayed on a weekday night! It was kinda scary as I was the only guest and it’s a big room and property. It’s very clean and comfortable. However, the lights went off shortly after I went into the shower room. As I’m not tall, the sensor can’t detect my moving arms so I ended up showering in the dark. I would recommend staying here when it’s slightly busy. "
