Spacious room with comfy bed and excellent amenities. The room was too hot on arrival. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Bar and restaurant looked ok but very quiet. there were no shower cap and cotton pad in the room. When requested, was told not available.

Rakuten STAY TERRACE Hakone Kowakudani
They do not have an onsite staff. This is not very clear at the time of booking. Not having an onsite staff means you cannot leave your bags at the hotel. So if you plan to drop your bags or have them delivered to the hotel, do not book with this hotel

Clean, convenient location to boat cruise and bus top, with immediate walk / view of the lake! Lovely personal hot tub. Make sure you are okay with either a bit of travel or pre ordering dinner though! Only one restaurant in town open for dinner in the area
