"Amazing stay! The view of Mt. Fuji was spectacular and the staff was so friendly and accommodating. We loved everything about our stay, from the toiletries to our in room chef. We would love to come back again!"
"What a great find! Everything was outstanding: from check in to check out: super friendly and helpful staff, spotless place, very well organised, great food, plentiful breakfast,… I wish I had booked for an extra night. The whole family loved it!"

"Wonderful stay. Staff were incredibly helpful. We got lucky and had views of Mt. Fugi almost our entire stay. I would highly recommend staying here. "
"It is an excellent option for your stay in takayama, it’s really close to the station and has a seven eleven in front. The rooms are spacious and clean, we enjoyed our stay here"

"The room felt quite old and had a noticeable musty smell. There was also a significant amount of dust in the room, and I could see dust particles floating in the air. During my stay, my skin became irritated and itchy, which may have been related to the room environment.
I hope the hotel can improve its cleaning standards, especially by vacuuming more thoroughly and addressing the musty odor. This would make the stay much more comfortable for future guests."
"We only stayed a few nights, but the experience was so good I wish we'd stayed longer. First the location is amazing. A beautiful property up in the mountains surround by nature and beautiful sky be it day or night. The staff are super friendly from the minute you arrive they usher you in, help you get checked in, and do a thorough job of explaining the amenties and features of the hotel. The rooms are fantastic, offering a mix of traditional and modern Japanese living. The open air bath on the balcony is a gamechanger.
We booked the room that included the dinner package and I would highly recommended it. The courses were fantastic one after another. Additionally breakfast is available and there's so much delicious food, I felt completely ruined for other hotels on my trip.
And lastly what is so amazing about this hotel is just how peaceful and serene it is. The environment encourages slowing down, relaxing, and enjoying the tranquility of the Japanese landscape. I found myself going out on the balcony each morning, meditating or reading a book with the just the ambience for sound. I'm a director and writer and I've decided I'll be booking this hotel to work on a novel I'm writing. I felt so inspired and in such a flow state while staying here.
If visiting Hakone this would be my top recommendation. Can't rave about it enough."
"Overall, the hotel is in a great location and offers easy access to nearby attractions. However, one minor inconvenience is that the lobby is located on the 18th floor, requiring guests to take one lift to the lobby and then transfer to another lift to reach the guest rooms.
The hotel does not provide on-site parking. Guests are directed to a nearby commercial building for parking, which may be less convenient, especially for families or those travelling with a lot of luggage. As vehicles need to be parked at a separate location, dropping off and picking up luggage can be somewhat cumbersome."
"Fantastic location and service, just ask for a high floor!
We booked the Deluxe Triple Room and had a wonderful stay overall. The location is unbeatable—being right on top of a major station is incredibly convenient, drastically cutting down on walking time and transfers. While the room itself was a bit smaller than we expected, it featured lots of windows that provided fantastic city views and a bright, pleasant ambiance.
The staff were professional, friendly, and highly accommodating. Most spoke fluent English, and for those who didn't, they were eager to help and easily used Google Translate to make sure we were taken care of. The breakfast buffet was also great, though the fresh fruit selection was a bit lacking.
The only minor downside is that you can faintly hear the trains below, especially during the quiet late-night hours. It wasn’t overwhelmingly loud, but it was enough to be distracting when trying to sleep. I would highly recommend requesting a higher floor if you are a light sleeper.
Crucial Navigation Tip: Nagoya Station is big and can confuse even Google Maps. Remember that Japan has many different train companies. If you are arriving from the airport via the Meitetsu μ-Sky Express Train, you will land at Meitetsu Station. Head toward the Central Exit and follow signs for the JR Lines (Sakura-dori Exit). You will walk past the Silver Clock, and eventually, the Gold Clock. The entrance to the hotel building is directly to the left as you exit that area."
