"Great Ryokan. The Service and the Japanese dinner & breakfast served were excellent"

"Clean and tidy room. Staff always showing sweet smiles and willing to help."

"The hotel was absolutely gorgeous, the view was exactly what I wanted from my room, the communal spaces were very comfortable and clean, the staff was incredibly helpful and understood English, the baths were hot like I wanted and super super clean, and the nearby food was so good! I would love to go back!!!"

"Roof top Fuji view is great. Kimono offering and public bath is wonderful. Has some difficulty to find out about transportation nearby. Lack of clear information. Hotel shuttle has no other stops. Made it difficult to get around the areas other than calling uber. Food are good but do not know what is on the menu. Overall very good experience"

"Everything was amazing, the room was clean, they provided you with the option to select the BBQ dinner which was delicious! They do have drink options at an extra cost. But would recommend to stop at a convenience store to get snacks and extra things to keep in the room. But overall the view amazing, the fire pit so peaceful. Such a nice little getaway! Would highly recommend! The staff honestly was top notch!"

"Wow, I seriously wished we could have stayed one more night because this place was so relaxing. The room we had was massive, and we chose to sleep on the floor, the floor mattress and blanket were so comfy. The onsen was our favourite part. After long days of walking, we relaxed in the hot springs, and sat in the massage chair. The area is perfectly tucked away but a nice walk to restaurants around and not crowded! They provide a shuttle to Kawaguchiko’s Bus station. 11/10 recommend!!"

"We enjoyed our stay at hotel Mifujien. Their breakfast and dinner set courses were very well made and the service was excellent. The staff were very helpful."

"Very nice"

"Older style ryokan definitely kept the old style, a great experience that I think the newer hotels wouldn’t give you. Great views of the lake, only a 5 minute walk around the corner to see Mt Fuji!"

"great location, though it is all still depend on the mt. fuji weather... great amenities of onsen use. actually there's Watahan supermarket closeby but haven't got chance to be there"

"i was expecting to wear yukata during my stay but we were provided other clothes. it was dissapointing because itit's one in a lifetime experience"
