This is the perfect location for a good price in Kyoto. It seems to be a recent construction, as the materials and finishes look modern and new. Stayed at the Blossom for five nights. Great location. Hotel was comfortable and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Especially enjoyed the amenities (onsen, laundry facilities, and coffee/tea available in the basement lounge)

Miyako Hotel Kyoto Hachijo
clean room, nice staff. however the concierge didn't speak english well. convenient as it is a block from the train station and was the hub of all transportation. the shopping and food area in kyoto station was very convenient.
