"Staff was pleasant but did not seem to be happy that we were staying there. Meals were tasty. Shuttle was limited. Staff could not tell us the best way to get to the hotel. Hurray for Google maps. Staff did arrange for luggage to be sent to the train station."

"Buen Ryokan en Hakone Yumoto, caro como todos, pero bien comunicado, al lado mismo de la estación, con tiendas cerca y restaurantes. Un paisaje privilegiado desde la ventana de la habitación y los onsen muy bonitos. Tiene restaurantes dentro, aunque no fuimos porque nos parecían caros. "The gentleman who spoke excellent English helped us when we drove up to the front is a very excellent representative and face for the hotel and demonstrates hospitality well. The overall hotel has the feeling of omotenashi which is rarer and rarer now as more foreign workers and more foreigners with a disregard for Japanese unspoken habits are hired in these hotels. "The property is a little bit away from the train station and up the hill, but shuttle is provided between 1 and 5 pm every day for pickup. We arrived later, and decided to walk despite being given the option to have them pick us up by request. Checkin was simple and straightforward, we were given instructions on paper and in English. "ホテルは少し建物内臭いが気になった。 スタッフの対応はとてもよくて、ゆっくりくつろぐことができて、次回もと考えるほどだった。 ただ、今回、天候が悪く、停電があったため、早めに就寝したが、停電が長くなった頃、サイレン音で買わない放送され、更に復旧の知らせもサイレン音だったため、かえって恐怖心を持ってしまった。 また、バスの便利がかなり悪く、バス停の表示時間が全く違って、困った。 その点さえなければ、とても良いホテルだと思う。"
