"CoDE takes a lot of care in making sure the facilities are clean. The restrooms, showers and beds are frequently tidied. Fellow guests are quiet and respectful. It was my first time staying at a hostel and in a mixed gender room. The only exception is that the fridge and cooking area could be better maintained and its rules enforced. Otherwise very easy to store leftovers and heat them up. Breakfast and coffee also great. The beds are also very comfortable. I slept very well with earplugs. "

"The Leonardo is located right between old and new Edinburgh. It was very convenient to walk up to the Royal mile and tour old town. We could also go out the front and walk straight into Newtown. "I have only good things to say about this hotel. Check in was easy. The airport shuttle bus dropped us off right across the street from the hotel. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance. The rooms are a bit on the smaller side, but we didn't spend much time there except for sleeping and showering. Tourist attractions are all within walking distance. There was even a farmer's market minutes away. Would recommend. "

"Great little place in the New Town area with shops and bars around it. Nice decor and clean and modern. I would say it was pretty noisy at night as there was a party somewhere out the back each night but it was a weekend and they do provide ear plugs and the windows are pretty sound proof when shut.
