"Staff were friendly and helpful some rooms were a little tiered as I ended up saying a extra night so had to rebook and change room breakfast was the best thought it let the hotel down as the bacon was smoked not everyone’s choice, potatoes where soggy as sweeting in the hot plate warmer, scrambled egg was just wet mosh and no flavour. One positive is they serve breakfast early, "

"Was very pleased to discover this hotel. Beautiful building, room was as good as the other hotel group we normally use. Small points to mention, towels are small, and we had no soap in the bathroom, toilet seat was dirty, had to wash it before I could use it. Otherwise very happy with our stay, will definitely use again."

"Large shared kitchen with excellent facilities. Single bedroom had plenty of space and in the back of the property so quiet. Doors are noisy when they close. Could have done with a bedside table and hook on the back of bathroom door for towels. So tiny things would make it perfect but this was a great place to stay."

"Well what a surprise we hadn’t expected much as we paid a very reasonable price. Arrived and was shown up to our room, very friendly service. We stayed in the cappuccino room. The room was lovely, great size & really light and airy. Lots of little touches like kits with things you might need, plenty of shower wash, shampoo etc. tea, coffee & sugar well Stocked as well as little biscuits & bottles of water. "No attempt was made to welcome us or explain anything about the hotel or rooms. Room was spacious if rather run down and not exactly clean. I could not access TV channels on the TV just radio. The location is rather remote but as we were just staying overnight for a wedding reception elsewhere that was not an issue."

"Arriving to check in to have to try and contact someone via watsapp only to be given a silly excuse as to why they didnt have a room ,apparently previous guests had damaged the property is check out not 11am this should have been noted before 7pm . . The inconvenience of having to find alternative place to stay and still waiting for a refund .sorry not acceptable "

"We had 2 large rooms for a family break. Hosts were very welcoming and went that extra mile to make us feel at home. Tasty vegan breakfasts went down with group and the availability of the breakfast room during the day was also useful. Very comfy beds. Nice to see the various friendly rescue animals / pets. Location is in a quiet street which is a few minutes walk from regular bus services to city centre / pubs / food. We plan to return."

"Very helpful and friendly owners, great location for visiting our new granddaughter. 2 mins walk to lovely Pearsons park. Some lovely welcoming items, lots of fresh fruit, bread, butter, milk and cake all vegan as owners are, a couple of things i would suggest is maybe a door curtain could be put in place as there was no privacy going from the bathroom across the kitchen to the bedroom also there was no smoke alarm present. All in all a nice stay 👍 "
