"We stayed here both the night before and after our flights from Stansted. It was just what was required - clean, warm and quiet. We had a nice meal in a local pub about 20 mins walk away called The Nags Head which was very nice. The staff were helpful and friendly. The car parking was as expected £5 per night and we parked right outside (1 min walk). Super quick and easy to drive to the airport accross J8 - took about 6 mins. We would definitely stay here again before an early flight."

"Staff is really helpful and friendly with good knowledge of local stuff to do and see. The room was nicely designed. Bed was fantastic. Comfortable, clean and linen was soft and well ironed. Shower was great with high pressure and hot water, carpark was quite tight but free of charge! Breakfast was perfect! Dinner at their restaurant/ pub was very tasty and very well made and fresh. "We decided to start our holiday early and stay at the Stansted Airport Lodge before our 7am flight the following morning. We didn't arrive at the hotel until about 10pm but were we greeted at reception by a friendly and helpful staff member and shown to our room. The room was basic but spacious and you could see the airport from one of the windows. We weren't there long as we left at 4:30am but we did have a few hours sleep in a comfortable bed. We would stay here again if we had an early flight...
