"The Cary House is a historic landmark in Placerville right in the middle of hang town. Easy walk to shops, pubs and great places to dine. Love the Cary House and its staff."

"Modern, updated and clean room. Bed was comfortable and the lighting was adequate. Nespresso coffee makers in the rooms would be a better coffee experience. Parking was easy and we loved being close enough to walk to the downtown area. Would have been better if the breakfast options were more interesting, given that the hotel seems to have the facilities for it. Waffles were nice, but there was only sugar-free syrup and some jams, plus some apple pie filling stuff. Instead of just cold, hard boiled eggs, the hotel could really up its game by offering hot scrambled eggs and bacon. Overall, it was a good stay for us and the staff was friendly, kind, and helpful. "

"Everything was great other than the elevator not working. They did put me on the 2nd floor to make it easier. Staff was great. Breakfast was great. Parking good and room was nice"
