"Beautiful accomodations. Very well maintained. Lovely property except down by the lake. Too many dog owners that don't clean up after themselves. Poop doesn't pick itself up ya know. Restaurant was not open for both nights we stayed...most likely why we got the spectacular rate. Oh well. Plenty of options 11 mi away or pick up groceries etc."

The room numbers weren't entirely sequential so navigating the hotel was very difficult. The arcade pictured almost none of the machines worked. Breakfast was the only ok thing."

"The location was excellent and had a great historic feel that is appropriate for the area. The continental breakfast in the morning was fantastic and a great way to fuel up for a full day exploring the battlefields. We had a great view from our room."

Everything was in good condition. While the mattresses were very firm, we found them not uncomfortable. The room was fairly quiet, as we were located in the back, away from streets. "We had reserved a room with a king bed and were given a queen. We weren’t in the same building as our friends which we had also requested. Furniture was very dated and bedding appeared worn out. Bathroom was nicely remodeled."

"The Oak restaurant was perfect. Ate there both nights on a two night stay. Room was very comfortable and staff were helpful in simply providing towels and toiletries after the first night. Front desk staff was also very accommodating allowing me to park my motorcycle right off the entrance, despite signs to the contrary, and 260 woman bikers there for a rally. Th hot tub even worked."

"Great location and large room, downside was no staff on site; we needed to call to get someone from the next door diner to open the door. No welcome or further context. Also no staff when we checked out. Rooms are nice and spacious, the outdoors patio and garden are a great opportunity to relax in, but is current quite empty; if they would make this a bit more cosy and welcoming it would be a lot better."

"The room carpet was so filthy that my 18 month olds feet were completely black from playing for 2 hours. I will NEVER get a room there again, I go to Gettysburg several times a year and I will gladly pay $ 700 to a much cleaner hotel. The cleaning ladies work like dogs to get everything done before they get sent home, I’m assuming to save money for the hotel, that hotel will forever be known as the LOW QUALITY INN."

"This hotel was a hidden gem! We walked in and were immediately taken back to our stay in the UK. Our room was great and everyone was soo helpful! We needed our tv reset (someone before us was "casting") (we are not technically inclined) and they did it for us very fast. Our kids loved the adventure of finding the pool. Such a cute place! We would stay again!!!"
