"We had a fantastic stay at the Mikasa Ryokan, which we would describe more as an experience from the moment we entered the hotel, until the moment we were dropped back at the JR Station by the hotel shuttle bus. The staff are very attentive, the food was excellent and we would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel. "Great spot for staying a night or two directly in the Nara Park. This allowed us to get up early and have basically the whole park to ourselves before the tourist groups arrive. Would definititely recommend it! The room was nice and clean, the staff was friendly and the location was perfect."

"Best location in Osaka! I’ve been to Osaka a few times and this is my first time at RESPIRE - I think it’ll be my go to hotel in Osaka going forward. Excellent value for its price. No downsides except hectic 3 pm check-in but I’ve experienced that a number of times in Japan as many hotels follow a strict 3 pm check-in so a line forms and then there is a rush. Key, don’t check-in at 3pm if you can avoid it 😉.Can’t emphasize location enough - mega-convenient with a ton of shopping, dining options, and transportation connections within very short walking distances. I’ll be back soon!"
