"Everything was lovely. Beautiful place, very clean and close to the airport. I was travelling solo and it was so nice to meet some of the people travelling like me in the morning and have breakfast together. The staff was so friendly and I had a great night sleep. My room was clean and had a comfortable bed and the shower was good too with plenty of hot water. Would definitely recommend and the price was great too! "

"Very close to the airport, clean room, AC available. Family business. They also have a restaurant/bar. The hosts are nice and provided cold bottle water to me when I arrived. I had to go to the airport at 4:30 am and the host was nice enough to drive me there at this hour. They do provide breakfast but I checked out too early. "

"I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Tangara Arenal. I booked the bungalow option, and it was a great choice. The bungalow was surrounded by plants and trees, with outdoor seating perfect for relaxing or reading while it rained—and when it rains, it pours! The metal roof made the sound of the rain noticeable, but I found it soothing, like white noise. We visited during the wet season and had the usual afternoon showers, but it never bothered us. "One of the best nights of our whole vacation was staying with Charlie and Peter! They were both extremely accomodating and the breakfast was amazing! The room was spotless and it the beverage options in the fridge were wonderful and greatly appreciated! We definitely will be back to visit! "

"Our hostess was very warm and welcoming, the garden surrounding the rooms was the most beautiful area, full of tropical flowering plants and many varieties of birds. The patio where breakfast was served was quaint and peaceful and the pool was a perfect bonus amenity. "
