"It's a basic hotel with friendly owners and a cute little dog. The room has little room, as the beds (3 in every room) take up most of the space. The breakfast is simple, primarily eggs, fruit and toast. It is a great option if you are looking for a budget place to stay with decent beds and a warm shower. It can be a bit noisy in the morning. "

"The property is very quaint, the rooms are large and fit our family of 6 just fine. The staff is great, the pool is amazing, and the views of the beautiful trees and wildlife were top notch. Each day a family of macaws would fly over the hotel while we were eating breakfast, it was breathtakingly beautiful. I highly recommend this hotel. "

"The host was very personable and took care to provide information of things to do around the surrounding area. However, the road to get to the hotel from Arenal was treacherous as it was mostly uphill, lots of curves and unpaved making it difficult to navigate."

There is a glorious view all the way till the ocean with breathtaking sunset, animals all over the place ( capuchin monkeys, coatis, peccary, humming birds...) nice breakfast, yummy home made jam! Very charming and spacious cabin/lodge. I would happily go back anytime! "
