"What a hidden treasure this place is. It’s in a seedy area in Anchorage, however, it is highly patrolled and a secure setting. Our first night the train sounds were like something out of the movie, “my cousin Vinny”, but the second night it wasn’t so bad. We will definitely book again!"

"The Fairview Inn is conveniently located in town. It is not a place to expect to get a good nights sleep due to the bar below. I knew it was above a bar, however I did not expect a band playing so loud that the room was vibrating. The other issue is that there is no door at the bottom of the steps or at the top which did not seem very secure with access to the bar right there. The rooms were clean and comfortable. If you don't mind sharing a bathroom with other guests and not sleeping than...

"The place was so clean you could eat off the floor. The guests realized this and kept it clean and 2 cleaners came in everyday. There was a great kitchen and common area and everything was so organized. I wish my own home was such. Jim"
