"This was my fourth stay at the Aqualuz. The hotel is perfect for me, and it is right in the middle of one of my favourite parts of the world to visit. I am there for work, so I have ideal access for where I need to be, in an extremely comfortable hotel, with spacious rooms and great facilities (including breakfast, the pool, and the bars/restaurants), and (the highlight) to have near-direct access to an incredibly beautiful beach. Staying at Aqualuz each year is one of my favourite things to do...

"Excellent aparthotel. Everything you need is there. Booked a 1 bedroom apartment which actually has a laundry room, wardrobe room, kitchen with dining area and a living room with dining area. Everything is extremely clean and in mint condition.
Our host was most helpful checking us in early and booking cabs during our stay. Location is excellent for walking downtown to the waterfront. Probably one of the flattest parts of old town for ease of walking. Grocery store less than 5 minute...

"Great stay!
Location was perfect. We were able to walk to sites, shops and restaurants.
Hosts were amazing. Kind and helpful, gave us an area overview and recommendations.
Breakfast to the room every morning was more than expected! Convenient, plentiful and great selection of fresh food."

"The property was clean. The location is convenient but very noisy in the evening, around 1am and super early in the morning so we coupon t rest enough. On the third day, I had to take a cold shower because I think there were many ppl staying at that night and ran out of hot water."

"Easy check in process, but the street it was on was rough. We got there in the AM and had to climb a few sets of stairs to get to the property and were met with a few homeless and drunk people. There was faeces in the alley way. But later realised there's another route to the hotel with a steep slope. Little bit difficult with a stroller. But worked it out.
Property is great and overall clean. No issues.
But housekeeping didn't really clean the room. We were there for 4 nights. And the floor was...

"The property is in need of upkeep. Things are broken and damaged. Chipped paint, damaged furniture and wall hooks fallen off the wall. We saw a cockroach in the bathroom. Towels were clean but worn. That said, the sheets were clean and beds comfortable. The location is great."
