"What a stellar experience! From the moment we stepped foot into the resort, we were welcomed with so much warmth and enthusiasm from every single staff member. I made a note that this trip was for my girlie's birthday, and they decorated our bed with rose petals, filled our bathtub w flowers, and even delivered a cake to our door while singing happy birthday. Denny, the manager, ensured everyone on the team was working in unison and now that we're at another resort in Uluwatu, we can't wait for our next trip back here at Wapa Di Ume in Ubud. Trust me, I rarely leave reviews- good or bad- but this was well worth it! This is the kind of resort that will shape your entire Bali experience."

"The rooms were clean and large. Even though it is somewhat worn and dated, everything worked. We had one issue with the A/C remote that was fixed immediately. The staff were all warm and friendly. We arrived late and the restaurant just closed but Kaden and her colleagues scrambled around to get us snacks and a beverage. We had all our meals in the onsite restaurant and they were all good. Breakfast buffet was good value. My wife and I had a spa treatment for two. My wife said it was the best massage she’s ever had. "

"This is a beautiful property. The staff and management are extremely helpful and friendly and go out of their way to make sure your stay is fabulous. Situated right on the beachfront, the three swimming pools are lovely and cater for all ages. The food is fresh and diverse and well priced. "

"It's a very atmospheric place, and I don't regret staying there overnight. I can recommend it, but understand that this is a house in the countryside and there might be small insects in the room. The grounds are excellent, green and beautiful, with two parking lots, but they're small. The restaurant is tasty and fast. The specialty is the average portions. Breakfast is okay. The rooms are nice, plenty of space, and the toilets are decent. There were a few complaints about the bathroom. Cons: average soundproofing, creaky beds. Small insects are possible, but there are remedies for them. Perhaps the main issue is the very loud sound of cicadas, really loud and impossible to do anything about. They quiet down around midnight. There is a pool in the room, but the water is cold (for me)."
