"We loved the trails and easy access to restaurants and shopping. The room was a little dated, and the shuttle was unreliable, but overall, it was a great trip. The grounds were immaculate and the service was spot on."

"Originally planned for two people, but our daughter and grandson joined us. Room was fine for two people but a little crowded for four. Water temperature was good but shower pressure was a little harsh (felt like needles on my face). The bathroom fan didn’t work very well as the bathroom was wet from ceiling to floor after a shower and we didn’t take very hot showers. Air conditioning was great. Staff was super nice. Overall a good experience and we will be back."

"Walked in room was very clean, nice fridge, microwave and TV’s staff very friendly bed very comfy and had a wonderful bath! Also outside there is a cute little pond with lots of Florida wildlife we seen a snake a gator and turtles! So fun and cool! Beach is right up the street and an ice cream hot dog shop next door great place to stay if you have kids!"

"Had to wait 2 1/2 hours to check in as room was not ready. Front desk would not let me talk to manager. She was very rude and kept telling me to keep checking back. Had to stand in a long line 4 times. I asked if she could text me when it was ready so I could go get something to eat, and she said no, I would just have to take a seat in lobby. When I finally got to the room , the toilet handle was broken and the fridge did not work. I was told that if I wanted to switch rooms, it would be a down...

"Everything was perfect,the staff, the room, if I have to tell something is about the hallways was kind of smelly"

"Took three chances to finally get us in a double queen room that was actually cleaned. First was a single king then a double queen that had not been cleaned. Asked for a credit card for incidentals and charged the full room amount after I already paid thru Expedia. Have a ridiculous $15 per night fee for parking. Hotel needs some TLC and some updating."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our 3-night stay. Our king room on the first floor was very comfortable, spotless, had a large bathroom, and even a little back deck. The historic property was beautifully restored and clearly very well cared for by innkeeper Veronica and her team. Veronica's gourmet breakfasts were a huge treat, different every morning, and served with attention to every detail in the elegant dining room. Veronica was happy to share suggestions on activities and restaurants in the area....
