The rooms look nice in photos but I found them very difficult once inside - nowhere to put anything in the bathroom, really poor lighting for getting ready in the evening, etc. The shower head in our room was terrible - spraying everywhere and so hard it was sharp and painful on my face even at lowest stream. "Dar Drissi is lovely. The location is great. We had the family room which has one king bed and 3 singles. An en-suite, large bathroom and a balcony sitting area that looks over the fountain in the main area below. The terrace on the roof is incredible and the breakfast scrumptious. We also had their home cooked dinner was large and delicious. We highly recommend Dar Drissi for your stay in Fes. "

"Absolute delight staying here. We truly loved the beautiful riad—it was charming, peaceful, and impeccably maintained. Anwar and Chantal (the owner) were incredibly kind and went above and beyond to help us when we were in a bit of a jam, which meant so much to us!! I can’t say enough about the warmth of the hospitality. The rooms were spacious and beautifully designed, and breakfast each morning was excellent. "This is a beautiful riad with a large, central, high-ceilinged room. This is the main space of the riad, and it is beautiful. The decor is lovely and finely detailed. This was the prettiest and most artful riad we stayed in during our Morocco trip. They kindly upgraded us (for free) to a nicer room that was available (we didn't even ask for this, so we appreciated it). The rooms were beautiful as well. There is a nice rooftop area, and we sat and watched the sunset (and some of the World Cup)...

"Please stay away from this property. Horrible staff. He refused to pick us from taxi stand. Whole property was empty. At night the care taker left the property and AC staff working. We called the main number and no body picked up the phone. Tried to find someone and there was no one else. Front door was locked and we could not go out also. Bathroom was smelling and fixture were all loose. We left the property first thing in the morning and booked another hotel. Lost the money but we have to run...
