"Plausible time travel decor - ambience conjures late 18th, early 19th c origin of building (in fact very eclectic but why quibble). Room comfortable and nothing lacking. Was provided with french press coffee maker for coffee service in mornings, nice touch. Plumbing also a whiff of days long gone: claw-foot tub with brass handles and regulator."

"Bugs in room on first floor. Mildew smell in room. Our friend also staying in hotel on different floor also had bugs in his room. Notified staff and they sent housekeeping which offered to clean my toilets. Informed them again upon checkout of bugs and staff were again not helpful. I was worried about the availability of AC/Air-conditioner/Air conditioning given the heat wave stretching across London and Europe. "Our room was very small. Space was just barely enough for two adults with one suitcase each. The bathroom was also quite small, with nowhere to put toiletries.
