"Convenient location close to and train stations. Well Maintained accommodation with aesthetically pleasing fixtures and fittings. Comfy bed and helpful staff. Unfortunately we discovered long dark hairs in the shower and on the bathroom floor but not until we returned later in the evening. If not for this would have been 5 star Would still recommend."

"The hotel has a fair bit of character and quirk to it. The location is pretty convenient - walking distance to the underground. There are a few cool streets nearby. The room were clean, well equipped and quirky."

"Terrible communication from the host - I emailed a few times and the responses were very slow, also checking in at 4 pm and checkout at 10 am is unbelievable, when they charged me almost £200 for only 18 hours! I tried to communicate with the host, they weren’t very responsive. However, they kept sending me generic messages over and over again, including repeatedly telling me that check-in is at 10 am. Will not be staying here again."

"Great studio suite ruined by lack of AC. Hardly slept because of heat and bed firm. Otherwise great location, friendly staff. Apartment has everything you need….apart from AC. Maybe will stay again but only outside summer!"

"We were in a deluxe studio and loved it. Great space with a wonderful view. AC was much appreciated- very happy to have after the warm weather! Staff were lovely- accommodating and helpful. We will definitely be back!"

"The hotel is well placed close to bus stops to move around the city. We had a little bit of a misshap with another guest's irresponsible behavior and the staff was very helpful in making us feel comfortable and heard."

"Plausible time travel decor - ambience conjures late 18th, early 19th c origin of building (in fact very eclectic but why quibble). Room comfortable and nothing lacking. Was provided with french press coffee maker for coffee service in mornings, nice touch. Plumbing also a whiff of days long gone: claw-foot tub with brass handles and regulator."
