"This hotel has some very cool elements but lacks some basic amenities. They offer only paper cups, no glassware at all, no mini bar and no robes. There also was no rug. The towels were also very thin. It's the little details that make all the difference."

"Stayed here about 5 years ago and it was 5 star. Gone a bit downhill since with dated/well used/weathered furniture, faded elevator buttons, etc, and general laissez-faire attitude from staff makes this now a low 3 after most recent visit. Arrived for checkin at 4:45pm and was told to wait as room was not ready. Credit to Dan for waiving our daily resort fee for the inconvenience. Location is excellent and walkable to many areas of NYC and train stops nearby. Bellhop was helpful loading...

"Lovely rooms and a comft bed. I had the the biggest room they have and it was bigger than I expected, with enough floor space for luggage and moving around with ease. Bathroom was a bit too small for my liking and the water pressure could have been stronger. Lovely girl who checked me in and out."

"The room was so spacious and clean! I loved the fact you can hop onto any subway and get around the city easily from this location! Tons of food options and you can even leave and come back across the city within 30 minutes if you want to bring food back to the hotel, bring extra because you can heat it up later! I loved the view of the hotel, the staff was incredibly friendly. Was probably my favorite stay of any hotel. The Roku box came in clutch especially for late night movie watching...

"This was built as a 5 star establishment, and the door weights and materials will remind you of 1990s property that afforded a non-fake luxury. This is not the ubiquitous “luxury” pizazz term seen all over the place. It still remembers what Gen X knew as luxury aka quality not a scene."

"We stayed in the most basic room on the property, which was very clean and stylish, very well priced especially considering it's in the middle of World Cup and Knicks playoffs Etc. Bedding was comfy, shower small but great water pressure and good quality toilet products.
