The hotel is in great condition. It was remodeled in 2019, so I was told. Close to down town and the main sqaure. Staff was friendly and polite. The hallways are green and have pictures of trees which seems kind of funky when walking through. Other than that a great place to stay with a very good breakfast that is included in the price.

We liked that we could walk to many sights such as the Cathedral, Museum and the beautiful park. We also liked the fact that breakfast was included and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We missed not having a pool and our room smelt musty when we arrived so we opened a window to air it out.

Disappointing bait and switch and the WORST coffee
My wife and I arrived to check in to our double deluxe room and were given a key card. Went to our room to discover: SURPRISE you get two separate single beds in a TINY room! Explained to reception that this was not the room I booked and SURPRISE again your reservation SAYS double deluxe room but "we're sorry we don't have any other rooms...we're fully booked!" No other hotels had availability and so we had no choice to accept the room and hope to speak with a manager about a refund. Speaking with the manager their remedy was to refund us their posted differences in prices to the room and "upgrade us to an apartment suite for our last day" what a treat! So we stick it out for two nights and days. Their breakfast is pretty rough and you're better off to just go to a local cafe for some REAL coffee (I've had better coffee in motel 6s off of interstate hwys) Time to pack up and store our luggage for the day and move into our nice new apartment! The apartment is new alright: in fact it's SO new that it's at that stage where the builder is ALMOST done but not quite (the threshold of the shower wasn't installed and so the shower leaked onto the bathroom floor for example) We were advised there is a $30 difference between the rate for the twin room and a deluxe double and this was the only refund offered. That is not what we paid and the inconvenience was worth far more than that! This situation was not well handled.

Amazing unpretentious hotel
I just loved this hotel. Actually I usually stay at more expensive hotels but I loved this one more. It was spacious, very clean, and well-located. I had a view of a park and it was quiet at night, but an easy walk to the old town. The breakfast was so good, with a fantastic array of delicious pastries and plenty of fresh fruit. I thought the green hallway was an amusing addition. All the staff were helpful and nice.

Mixed hotel standard
Hotel Cruzeiro has a helpfull front desk where it was possible to get good help and information. Breakfast is of poor standard and the same goes for the restaurant in the evening. One waiter for a full restaurant is insufficient plus quality of food was at best average. Rooms are nice clean and of good standard. Location close to harbour and bars/restaurants. Wifi of high standard.

This hotel has barely been open for one year. It is in tip top shape and amazing. I enjoyed my stay here. My room was quite large and had windows along two sides. The hallway has dark green lights and the room numbers are lit up on the floor. It was a bit strange at first but I ended up loving to walk down the green hallway. The breakfast was delicious and featured plenty of options. The location is fantastic and a short walk to the main square and harbor area. Don't forget to visit the museum around the corner from the hotel. It's the best museum I've ever been to and I learned a lot about the history of Portuguese discovery and the Azores.

The Hotel was situated close to the attractions in Angra do Heroismo. The decoration was different of the corridor leading to the rooms was as if you were walking through a forest.

Location was great. Staff very friendly. Bkfst buffet included. Room had a vague ammonia smell, especially near the door. No booklet explaining hotel policies in the rooms. We broke a glass and asked for replacement but it never came.

Das Zimmer war sauber, modern und praktisch eingerichtet. Es sah alles gut aus und die Fenster waren sehr gut isolierend gegen die Straße.Das Bad war ebenfalls sauber, praktisch und morden, nur das übliche Problem, beim Duschen wird das halbe Bad geflutet.

Sehr gute Lage am Rande der Altstadt. Eigener Parkplatz. Wir hatten sehr große Zimmer mit zusätzlicher Sitzgruppe. Das Frühstück war sehr gut mit großem Angebot. Insgesamt ein sehr empfehlenswertes Hotel!

El hotel nos recibio con un problema en la habitacion , queriamos dos camas y solo quedaba una habitacion y era en la parte de atras que daba a los aparatos de refrigeracion que estuvieron molestandonos toda la noche. Solicitamos cambio de habitacin al dia siguiente y no hicieron ningun esfuerzo en cambiarnos. Dormimos tres noches muy incomodas. En general el hotel no fue lo que prometian en ningun aspecto. No lo recomiendo

Decoração de todos os espaços muito bonita. Funcionários profissionais e simpáticos. Muito bom pequeno-almoço. Única nota negativa para o barulho exterior contínuo (eventualmente provocado pelo sistema de climatização) e que se ouvia apesar de muito baixo especialmente à noite. O colchão quando nos movimentávamos também fazia um som como se tivesse um plástico.

Hotel confortevole con fantastica prima colazione
In pieno centro, offre la possibilità di un ampio parcheggio all’interno della struttura. Colazione fantastica, molto variegata, sia nel dolce, che nel salato; qualità dei prodotti eccelsa. Struttura moderna, confortevole e pulita. Camera ampia con letto comodo. Le stanze che danno sulla strada principale sono piuttosto rumorose e si sente il passaggio delle auto sulle strade con l’acciottolato. Da rivedere il sistema di aspirazione del bagno assolutamente inefficiente.

Il personale è estremamente gentile e disponibile. La struttura è nuova e moderna,. E la camera in cui abbiamo soggiornato confortevole, anche se non grandissima.
