The welcoming desk clerk was amazing! The Kitchen workers top notch! The food was delicious! Room was splendid! Highly recommend to anyone coming to this island!

Lovely modern hotel about 15 minute walk from the center of Angra. Having on-site secure parking was super convenient. The staff was very helpful. The breakfast very good. I would absolutely stay here again on a return trip and will recommend Shipyard to friends. I also had an excellent dinner in the restaurant.

Great place to stay on the island. Close to the town and the beach. Very stylish place. The only two pieces of constructive feedback is that the AC works very poorly and the staff in the restaurant seems utterly lost.

The hotel is relatively new, everything was modern. Very roomy rooms, great location, walkable to rest of town. Breakfast every morning was excellent the wait staff were very good. Rooms are cleaned well. View looking to all the rooms in the front is an abandoned building. But no complaints otherwise. Would definitely stay again if we return to Angra.

Very spacious rooms. Rooms are very clean and make you feel at home. Having AC would be a nice. Excellent stay. Good location, walking distance from downtown Angra and the marina.

We loved staying at the Shipyard. We were very impressed with the quality of the hotel - clean rooms and friendly staff. We appreciated the take-away breakfast that was organized for us, so we could eat before our early flight. Highly recommend!

This hotel is a standout in the area. Perfect location, easy and accessible parking, in-house dining, and the decor was outstanding. Room was spacious, had everything we could need for our stay. Our one issue was the same as many have noted in reviewes: the air conditioners don't seem to really work. The one in the bedroom seemed to sort of work, but definitely never reached the set temperatures, so we ensured we kept the bedroom door closed at all times to give it the best chance. The air conditioner in the living area responsible for the rest of the apartment definitely didn't do anything besides blowing room temperature air. At some points, it was better to open the patio door for the less warm outside air. This should definitely be looked into as it was pretty uncomfortable.

We had a premium apartment in a premium hotel. The staff were friendly, polite and attentive. Breakfast each day was very good. The restaurant is good as well. We have stayed here before we will stay here again.

Feels more like an apartment than a hotel. There was plenty of space in the room. We did discover dirty underwear left in our room on the floor during our stay that was unfortunately not ours- that really ruined it. No conditioner, no tissues… it just felt like a mock hotel. The morning staff in the dining was quite honestly horrible. The food for AM was not good at all and the staff in the morning to be honest DRASTICALLY needs to be educated on basic serving and hosting. The beds and pillows are comfortable but that would not be enough to return.
