"Our spacious room was located on the third floor overlooking the pool and the bay. Unlike many resorts, the room had generous closet space for both of us. We were greeted by name upon arrival, and I appreciated the upgrade. We dined at both resort restaurants and sampled the sushi at another. We enjoyed the fresh desserts and pastries at the bakery and coffee shop. We used the gym everyday and had a blast on the beach. The concierge arranged a driver and guide for a day trip to Paraty. "The place is embedded in the Atlantic forest, beautiful trees, plants and many kinds of flowers. Really gorgeous property. The access street was not finished and a light post was broken. That made it a little sketchy to get there. Also, just in case, there's a small hill to get there, Not good for anyone with impaired mobility. . The room was well clean, mattress was very comfortable, breakfast was delicious, staff super helpful! Our room/cabin was VERY humid, not much sunshine in the cabins due...

"The staff was very attentive and courteous. The property is very well maintained and the vegetation is magnificent. There is a huge focus on environmental conservation. The hotel is located in the heart of the old town within walking minutes of all the restaurants, boutiques, the port and other places of interest. During our stay the restaurant was closed for renovation and some other repair activities was ongoing. The noise was at time bothersome."
