"I would have given the hotel a five rating overall since it was clean, comfortable, well maintained, had a good breakfast, great location, and friendly staff but the WiFi was awful. They really need to improve the connectivity. It's one thing for it to be slow but it kept dropping out and made it hard for me to get some work done I needed to finish. If that's not an issue for you, it's not a "fancy" hotel but was a great location for being close to the beach and also not a far drive from Cannon...

We came for our 1 year wedding anniversary and they surprised us by decorating our room with fake rose petals and a sign that said happy anniversary and cute swan towels on our bed and left us candies and sparkling cider to enjoy (which was perfect cause we don’t drink). We also loved the spa tub in our room! We got to enjoy the pool, hot tub & sauna and it’s open 24hrs and adults only after 10 pm which was nice. "The location is the only good thing about this hotel. The breakfast served is almost inedible- they served cheapest low quality unhealthy food items from grocery store. Packaged boiled eggs, bagels, french toast, yogurt, sugar cereal. Everything was cold. For a $350 room stay, we expected a better standard of food. The room was also okay. Bathroom too tiny. Everything is poorly maintained and old. I would pay $100-150 for this standard of room and service."

"The inn was in a great location and close to pretty much everything in Seaside. A short drive to cannon beach as well. It is an old historical building turned into lodging and just be aware, it is VERY bare bones. Not necessarily bad, just nothing fancy. Continental breakfast is minimal - scrambled eggs, some sausage, boxed cereal and yogurt. Not a bad stay just not necessarily worth the price in my opinion."

"We had a wonderful stay! The room is perfect, on a smaller end but is very functional. The kitchen and the fridge were super helpful to cook healthy meals. The beds were OK comfortable. The tub is really deep and nice. Overall property is really conveniently located right next to the beach."

"This is a very nice and peaceful location. We had a room with a river view and it included a deck with chairs, and a table. The room was very clean and comfortable not to mention, friendly for our two small dogs too. This isn't the first time we have stayed here, but we love it and will continue to keep coming back."

"The property was under construction where people where painting and all prep literally outside our door and had to stop working to move out of our doorway whenever we would leave. I had to navigate me toddler and kids down the walkway that had wet paint and sharp building materials and toxic fumes. It was terrible. The started working right outside our window at 9am—waking everyone up."
