"It is a very nice place for a short stay in Rome. The place is well connected with the rest of the city. Very close to Termini station. The owner is very friendly and very helpful person. We enjoyed very much the stay and recommend stay there. "

"This is a fine place to stay. There’s nothing spectacular about it but for a stay in rome it’s good. It’s nice that it’s close to the train station but a pretty far walk to anything else but we don’t mind walking. "

"Staff at check-in was quite disinterested and did not provide any information about the property or local area. Security is quite poor, door to the room did not lock and no lockers available for personal belongings (apparently this is being renovated). Reception staff offered to store any valuables, but I discovered afterwards that the "safe storage area" was a completely open room where anybody had access. Nonetheless, property was quite clean. Would be a reasonable option for budget travellers...

"This place is absolutely disgusting. It’s falling apart, don’t be fooled by the pictures. The bathroom is a room with a few showers that is shared by the entire floor, it was so dirty, wet and gross that I didn’t even want to step in it. I was placed in a room with other 4 big men and the vibe in the entire place was just shady. At night it was impossible to sleep, you can hear every little thing from the entire property. "This must be one of the worst hostels I've ever been. Also, there was an issue with my booking (I let you guys judge who's right or wrong). Details at the end (long story). Pros: friendly staff (except the manager), good location (next to metro, and supermarket), and in the quiet neighbourhood. Cons: shower: doesn't work and broken. "Das Hostel Romangelo ist zentral am Hauptbahnhof Termini gelegen und ist somit auch vom Flughafen gut zu erreichen. Der Umgang mit den Hostelbetreibern ist freundlich und unkompliziert. Es ist möglich die Hostelküche (inklusive Kühlschrank) für die Zubereitung von Kleinigkeiten zu nutzen. Dort gibt es jden Morgen ein kleines Frühstück und zusätzlich wird täglich ein kleines Lunchpaket in das Zimmer gestellt.
