"I was woken up at 12:30AM by the staff knocking on my door. Asking me who I was. Come to find out that the employee who checked me in forgot to "save it" in the computer. It was the employee who checked me in was the one asking me who I was. I had to remind him of the conversation we had when he checked me in before he was convinced he made the mistake. No apology, no remorse for waking us up, and still acted like it was my fault somehow. Also de-activated my key card, was such a hassle in the...

"The town of Cedar Rapids is getting a data center installed. The construction workers are staying at the hotel so it is at full occupancy. The room we were in looked like they were renovating it but they had not finished the job. There was spackle all over the wall in the bathroom. The handle to the shower kept pulling off. The mattresses were old and you could feel the springs. Not a great experience. But the place was pretty quiet so that was good."
