Clocktower Inn Ventura

"This hotel was amazing. Beautiful lobby, open and airy. The staff was welcoming, professional but friendly and helpful. The room was super comfortable especially the cozy beds with the perfectly luscious comforter. The bathroom was a little bit small but it was clean and the shower head had a great steady stream. The hotel was so close to the beach, certainly walkable, but I took the car and the parking was only $2. The included breakfast of coffee, orange juice, bagels and cream cheese/jams, fresh fruit, yogurt, cereals, granola, hard boiled eggs and make your own waffles was surprisingly filling to start your day, and the patio was very inviting and relaxing to have your breakfast. Parking was free which is a rarity these days. Next door was a Mexican restaurant that provide room service but we opted to go to the Italian restaurant a few blocks away, Capriccio, which has great pasta and pizza. I had the chicken piccata and my boys had sausage pizza and lasagna respectively. Wonderful time and will definitely be back."

"This was our second stay here and we will be back again! We stay in the Vickers Estate which is beyond charming with original amenities. If you want more modern they have rooms near the pool. Love the location and price!"

"Older motel that is clean and well maintained. Only negative I experienced was being upgraded to a room with 1 bed that turned out to be a handi-cap room with a hand-held shower head that came out of the wall at waist high. No very useful for a 6'3" tall guy. Make sure you ask about the shower when checking in."

"This hotel was a very pleasant surprise. The entire property was extremely clean and the room had tons of character, really no comparison to a standard hotel room even in a luxury name brand hotel. The staff was helpful and friendly every time we interacted with them. Only area of improvement would be more storage in the rooms. The gated on-property parking below the hotel is a great amenity. Location is terrific with shopping and restaurants within block and easy to walk."
