"This home was exactly what we needed, close to downtown La Fortuna yet away from the noise. The house has 2 bedrooms with doble beds and TV’s and one loft with 2 twin beds. The bathroom has hot/cold water and the host provides shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. The kitchen has a full size refrigerator, a cooktop as well as the basics you need to make meals if you choose to cook. The washer and dryer were very convenient. "We enjoyed our stay at Monte Real. It was a very quiet and relaxing atmosphere to return to after a day of adventure. The room was clean. Breakfast was very good and we enjoyed the location of the restaurant, beside the river that runs behind the property. Staff were very friendly and professional. We would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet place to stay in La Fortuna at a reasonable price. "

"Honestly an amazing little spot near the city center. Quiet comfortable and everything you need. One of the light bulbs burnt out and they were there within minutes to replace it. Helpful with things to do around as well"

"Beautifully Tucked in the hillside but worth the drive from La Fortuna. The owner, John and smiling staff greeted us with a complementary cocktail My family of 2 adults & 2 teens could only stay one night, but loved the private spacious and modern bungalow. The lush gardens and breathtaking view of valley were exceptional. Pool more for dipping…Too small to swim. More affordable breakfast would be great, but would definitely stay there again. "
