We arrived and they started to redo the lobby area by changing the floor plan which you couldn't sit in the common area to sit and relax instead of staying in your room and painted and used glue for the wall paper. The pool was unavailable. The elevator button in the lobby was loose on the wall. Our room was directly above the lobby on the 2nd floor so the fumes came right up into our room. Over all...

"I am giving this 4 stars for what it is- a budget friendly motel for one night in transit. No, it does not have amenities you expect at a chain hotel, but it is half the price. It has the things I consider requirements- clean room, hot water, insect-free, and safe feel. We like to stay at family-owned motels when we travel and recognize that it is a tough business. "The room smelled, the key reader didn't work, the pool was gross, staff were rude and inappropriate, and there is not enough toiletries and linen for the room."

"Welcoming to pets. Front desk associate at check in wasn’t friendly at all and didn’t even seem to look at the details of my reservations (2 rooms with different room types and 1 with a dog). The bathrooms in the lobby were out of order. There was a dirty wash cloth in our shower and the bathtub was stained/rusty in spots. Thankfully the beds and rest of the room was clean. Breakfast was great other than their juice machine wasn’t working."
