"Dusit Thani Pattaya hotel is aged hotel building, carpets on floor in hall way and rooms are filthy and smelling, Bathroom fittings are aged too, staff not speak English or understand English, kitchen staff not accommodating when requesting vegetarian or special request. Did request to speak to general manager of hotel was informed by reception staff not available as busy. Unable to relax as noises heard by other people walking in hallway and not a place to relax either "

"The hotel was in excellent condition, amenities in the room were all great, I stayed on the 22nd floor facing the street at night this was pretty noisy although the hotel provided earplugs this was still quiet loud. The pool was a great area to chill and relax and wind down for a couple drinks. "

"Great value. The room is large and they hotel has good facilities including gym, pool and sauna. The bed was comfy however the pillows weren't the greatest"

"I go to Pattaya every month and stay in Akara every time. It locates 5 minute walking distance from Terminal 21 shopping center; a new local shopping center right downstairs with many restaurants and Top grocery store. The hotel has rooftop pool/bar with stunning 270 degree ocean view. Spacious guest rooms many with ocean view. Highly recommend!"

"Cannot fault this hotel except for it being a little too “Disney” for me. I should have researched it better. Also several problems with reservations at the property restaurants. They were very confused and after four separate calls from them to change restaurant, view and menu I decided to cancel and go elsewhere. But the property itself is very nice, i just personally like a more adult property and a little less costly."
