"Heima Holiday Homes are located just a short drive from town, and offers supreme serenity and great Mountain View. Self-checkin was hassle free. The home was fully furnished and equipped. "This was the best stay in our entire trip of Iceland! Alina was an amazing host, very attentive and welcomed us in. She made sure we had all necessities taken care of. They had the option to have a true Viking experience with tasting and option to view all the horses on property. The horses did come right to the edge of the cabins and were able to wake up to them. Very very clean, warm cabin with amenities included. Will 100% be back!"

"This was the coolest place we stayed in during our entire trip. The room had everything we needed & had some very fun surprises built in as well. The wind was super strong during our stay but we still slept soundly. It’s about 30 minutes outside of Selfoss, but it is absolutely worth the stay. "The instructions were not accurate in getting into the unit and it took pver 15 min to get in. The bedding was dirty and looked used. There was zero heat and was very very cold. The hot tub was not filled and warm and when i asked i was given a rude explanation on it and that thw instructions in the unit would explain. They didnt. They were not able to fix the heat and i had 2 seniors and a child ao we had to bundle up. So not worth the money. "

"This property was the most tranquil stay I have ever had. I felt safe the entire time and the owner was lovely to deal with. I would like to return for a longer stay. They have everything you need too, including a hair dryer and shampoo/conditioner/shower gel. We cooked our Christmas dinner in the over which was fine for two people. The property was also lovely and cosy. Not cold at all."

"Very room with a view that takes your breath away! At first we had no idea where to go to check in, we were not aware of the code for the key. We knocked on the staffs door and he told us, I did feel like we were bothering him so we felt bad. Other than that the property is nice. Lesson learned though, this property is 45-60 minutes away from the next town. Bring food, water and a bottle of wine with you!"
