"Pleasant stay at the Seaton Lane Inn with a little hiccup of no towels in the room on arrival but was remedied straightaway. Check in was quick and easy although steep stairs to the upper level of the Inn rooms. May be a little difficult for older people to negotiate these.
Had food in the restraunt one night and enjoyed the steak which was cooked as asked and the service was also good from the waiter.
Check out was also quick and easy so a very good stay at a good hotel."

"A lovely historic venue, the food on the whole was good & the staff were excellent.
However …… On the Saturday night of my long weekend, the venue had an event on. The music was unacceptably loud & it went on until nearly 1am which impacted the enjoyment of my stay, causing me to cut short my exploring the beautiful Durham area the following day due to fatigue.
In my view, if they want to host functions, they should have suitable soundproofing or ensure that the volume does not disturb the...

"Seaview room was lovely. Four poster bed, dressing gowns and veey comfortable bed. Fridge in room was very useful. We didn't try the breakfasts as we were visiting lots of family. Couldn't find usual TV channels but found the bionic woman, but that brought back memories. 😂 Great location."

"We were advised on arrival that a wedding was taking place on the Saturday, not a problem except we we’re giving a room almost above the function suite. The carpet in the room was filthy and not what I would consider acceptable at this price point. The hotel has no air conditioning, the room was too hot even with the window open all night. The pictures on the website are clearly taken when the hotel was refurbished years ago."

"I’ve stayed in many hotels across the country, but this one truly stands out at the top. I was blown away by the cleanliness and the quality of the facilities. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the whole experience was worth every bit.
I travelled for one night to visit friends, and even they were amazed at how spotless the hotel was. I was pleasantly surprised to find free electric car charging on-site — a very helpful bonus.
