We checked in late and left early. It was dark both times, so we couldn't see the surrounding area. As I said, it was late, so I want to give the office staff the benefit of the doubt regarding his behavior. He seemed impatient with us and didn't want to talk. Normally, they will tell you what your room number is even though it's written down and they will direct you to your room. He did none of that. I typically don't give bad reviews; I give what is deserved. I also consider how much we pay for a room and balance that with the condition of the room. Our room was very inexpensive so I didn't expect much. The beds were clean and comfortable. However, the top of the headboards had a heavy layer of dust. They obviously had not been dusted in a long time. The faucet leaked very badly. So much so, we had to lay a bath towel on the counter so the water wouldn't run on the floor. The overall review of this hotel was 8.2 and I have no idea why.

The motel is dated but was very clean. Beds & pillows were comfortable. Carpeting should be replaced as it had tears in it. Other than that, it was good! I would stay there again. The room was reasonably priced. The young man who checked me in was very polite and friendly.

I called twice and text them to cancel this. Even left a voicemail. Never answered the text or called back. Then sent "hope you enjoyed your stay" the day after. I was never even there.

This hotel had eight stars on hotels.com. I’m not sure how it’s even on hotels.com?! I got there at 7 PM to check in and the computers were all shut off. The lady had to turn them on and didn’t know the passwords for the computers themselves. Once she got help and got the computer turned on she couldn’t figure out the software to book me in. She went and got help for that as well. 15 minutes later I’m still standing there. I gave her my credit card to pay and the credit card machine didn’t work. She asked me if I had cash. I did not. She gave me the room key so I could check in before going to get the money.So I left and went to an ATM machine and came back and gave her a cash payment. When I gave her the cash, she gave me a different room key and said the room she had given me had a heater that did not work. It’s 30° outside so that is important. So I went to the other room and the only lights that worked was the light over the door when you walk in and the light inside the bathroom. No lights inside of the actual room turned on, however, the heater did work. The bed mattress was maybe 4 inches thick and I’m not joking. In the morning when I went to take a shower, I pulled up knob to make the shower work and only about four streams of water came out of the showerhead. In fairness, the room was $50 so I wasn’t expecting much. I travel for a living and I stay in cheap hotels a lot, but this one was perhaps the worst room I have ever stayed in. Easy fixes, just lazy management.

This is definitely a place to stay at. Very comfortable beds, comfortable pillows, very clean, great water pressure. And the cost!!! Less then a 1/2 mile from freeway. Best hotel I’ve stayed in in months.

Bang on what we expected. Nice location, very quiet. Looks straight out of the 1950s; shame the 50s wall-integrated radio was dead. That would have been a fun thing to have working! Main down-side was that the coffee machine in the room didn't work - nobody around to tell in the morning. Cheap and cheerful. Would stay again if passing through. However, it does seriously need a revamp - be warned. If you like a throw-back, this is nice. If you want a modern hotel room with mod-cons; then avoid.

We arrived late in the evening so didn't see properly the area of motel. The bedspread was stained and had cigarette burn hole. Mattress looked very old; however, it was comfortable given the sad state. Toiletries are on the cheap side. The bathroom is tiny and there was garbage behind the door and there were items left in the fridge by previous occupants. They need better cleaners. They need a major reno. Bathroom door is falling apart and caulking is a mess. There is a huge hole in the wall where the front door handle hits the wall. I think I will pay the extra money and go somewhere else next time. I don't know how they scored 8/10 on Expedia.ca.

Very cute and remote. Right next to the motel theres a couple of convenience stores as well.
