"Avoid this one place. I never leave reviews, but if this helps one person it’s worth it. Our first room smelled like someone had a bunch of wet dogs in it, the clock didn’t work, and the tv speakers were blown. I thought it was a fluke and spoke with the gentleman at the front desk and asked for a new room; he moved us with no issue. "The Retreat Center offered a fabulous opportunity for a midpoint stop. The location and property were stunning. The drive into the property offered great promise of a comfortable stay. The after hours check in was simple and the access to the room was right off the main driveway. Parking was easily accessible and close to the unit. The room itself was large, very clean, with a mini kitchen should it be necessary, and a single serve coffee pot was available. The bathroom was very clean, great...

"Accidentally left an item in the room upon departure. Called back the same day, then numerous times the next two days. Told someone would check with housekeeping and call back. Never received a call back. The last front desk individual I spoke with was belligerent and offered no help claiming they were too busy. This is certainly less than expected at a Wyndham property."

"The property sits in quiet area very close to mtsu. The units are well insulated. My partner and I are both light sleepers and we weren’t bothered by street sounds or other guests. My only complaints were the mattress felt like a stack of cold waffles and the pull out bed was more of a cot than a bed but overall still a great stay!"
