"Our 2nd time in key west. Last b&b was great. But simonton was fantastic. The property is perfect. Quaint vibe. Lots of trees and local wildlife. A perfect place to relax and soak it all in. This place is located in a perfect place to reach everything key west offers within a 10 minute walk. The people who work here were amazing. Some of the nicest. We arrived early and they held our bags. Texted us when they were ready and already put our luggage in the room. Our return flight left late so we asked if we could leave our bags at the desk while we did some last minute roaming around. They were absolutely accommodating. They said leave them and feel free to stay and enjoy the pool with private restrooms even after we checked out. If this is your 1st time here or coming back again I would highly recommend. Were coming back next year and will absolutely be staying here."

"The location was amazing. I do wish the cruise ships wouldnt park right in front and ruin the view during the day. But they usually left before sunset. The property was close to all of the key highlights. But somehow still quiet."

"The Heron House was clean and excellentl located. Only a block from DuVall Street. My issues we're attempting to find unmetered street parking. Parking is $6 an hour unless that 'free' spot is found. The hotel does not provide parking. I know everyone likes something different, but for me, the memory foam mattress remembered too many people. Unless I laid in the middle of the bed, the mattress would give way and roll me to one side or the other. And the pillows were simply flat and hard. Again, I know this is only a preference, but I may have had 2 hours sleep all night, and that's being liberal. Would I stay here again? Probably... The location and property ambiance made the few personal preference failures a wash."
