"We enjoyed a wonderful stay at Forest Rise - the villa was spacious, comfortable and well equipped...but its location is the standout feature. The surrounding area is incredibly peaceful and we loved watching all the kangaroos nearby. We can't recommend it highly enough."

"Die Savannah Lodge scheint ziemlich neu zu sein. Das Häusschen war zweckmäßig und sehr sauber. Es gibt keinen eigenen Kühlschrank oder Wasserkocher. Jedoch im Haupthaus Kaffee und Tee zu jeder Zeit. Leider hatten wir keinen schattigen Balkon zum Fluß, sondern in der prallen Sonne. Also für Sonnenanbeter sehr geeignet. Das Essen war sehr gut und ausgewogen. Abends gab es ein offenes Feuer. Die Lodge ist sehr auf Gruppen ausgerichtet. Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend. "

"Naming of location was misleadng. (Bell Gorge is nowhere near property which is located in a unattractive area). Staff were a bit over the season and not as willing to help as other Kimberley places we visited. Maybe could benefit from extra training or maybe difficult to attract good staff to a bad location? "

If you want something different, then this is the place. You an do as much as you want or as little - the choice is yours. The food was exquisite, thank you Chef. "The staff were good, the breakfast was very good. Plenty of food options & cooked full breakfast was unlimited. The property is old & run down, it has a Rottnest charm about it but needed upgrading years ago. The room was maintain at a reasonable standard but the dark, dirty looking uneven slate floors would be hard to clean. The worst area was the downstairs outside area, cobweb & dirt on screen door & all around outside area. Dirty outside furniture. All for $250 a night. Never stay again"
