"Happy with our stay. Friendly staff, clean rooms with comfy beds. I liked the dressing gowns and slippers which were handy for the pool. Breakfast was good and evening meal was nice. Overall a good hotel that served us well for a weekend break "

"The only observation is that in room 18 there were no usb charging points. There were a number of 13A sockets however these were all on the same wall as the desk and none near the head of the bed.
I think this an odd missing feature.
Room was clean and shower excellent.
Breakfast offering in Black Pig was very pleasant as were the staff."

"Clean room, but the desk lamp did not work properly as the bulb constantly flickered. Also, the wall light near the window did not work at all. We felt that these things should be checked by the cleaning staff on a daily basis as it wouldn’t take long to switch on a lamp and wall lights while dusting them. We reported the broken lights to the receptionist when we checked out the next day."

Room very clean.
Staff exceptionally helpful.
Does not do breakfast but sister inn close buy and plenty cafes nearby eg Starbucks .
