"Fantastic location overlooking the hilltop sea views. Last minute overnight booking, with only the rear looking room available (would like to try the sea view rooms next time). Room was immaculately clean with a fan, iron (and board), hairdryer, microwave, toaster, fridge and kettle (also tea, coffee and milk, that you can have refilled if you need more). "We have stayed here before and enjoyed our stay which is why we booked again this year. The breakfast is good and the communal areas including bar area and gym were excellent. However the cleaning of our room was substandard and this spoiled our stay. Unfortunately we won't stay here again."

She also showed us a map of the local area, pointing out places of interest which were suitbale for myself and my wife. The facilities at the Cimon were excellent and we would definitely come again. "I've stayed at The Abbey Sands several times now as the staff are always helpful and friendly and it's an excellent location and good value for money. The rooms are well equipped and clean, although in general the decor is a bit tired and could do with a freshen up, especially the pool. Great breakfast, and plenty of parking available."

Hosts were so helpful, I struggled with the heat so they ensured our room was kept cool and gave me a beach brolly to use. The location was good, not too near centre but an easy 20 minute walk to the seafront and shops. Nothing was too much trouble and the breakfasts were fab, will definitely be returning."
