"For the price, I guess it is fine. But it is, ultimately, an example of the landlord special where the rooms were obviously clearly thrown together as quickly as possible to create rentals. Walls were flimsy, the floor had a slight but noticeable angle to it, the window A/C unit was unsealed, leaving a huge hole that made the window unit run almost nonstop while I was there. The bed frame was rickety and leaning to one side, and there was no hot water in the shower."

"The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful, our room was beautiful - a welcome oasis after the hustle and bustle of Boston, and the beds were very comfortable. We didn't get to sample breakfast as we had to leave early, but the complimentary cookies were delicious. We hope to return!"

"Beautiful property with lovely restaurant but rooms are small/tight compared to other luxury hotels. AC system was loud and inefficient. Reminded me of old Marriotts from 1990’s.
Butler is a nice concept but slow responses
$10 coffee was good but….seems a bit much. Good location. Overall there’s other nice hotels we’ve enjoyed that are superior to this hotel and less expensive"

"Great location. Right off of Newbury. But very odd bathrooms - toilet is literally right next to the door that you could trip over it. Barely any room to maneuver in the bathroom. Very outdated. Amenities not very luxurious for a 4-star hotel. Could use a major update. Physical keys were a nice touch. Had a decent stay, but for the price might look at other more updated properties"

"We drove from Connecticut and arrived around 11:30AM At check-in, the front desk said no rollaway beds were available and our room was not ready. When my wife explained that she had just confirmed it that morning, the same employee said she must have spoken to housekeeping and that housekeeping did not have authority to reserve one.
