"Very comfortable and clean. Walking distance to all the main sights in Chester. Validated parking (£12 per day) is about 8 min walk away, you’ll walk by an ancient Roman amphitheater and a beautiful church. Breakfast is tasty with good variety. Concierge very helpful. Would recommend!"

"Great location. The room was nice, if a little warm, the A/C wasn’t very powerful and our fridge didn’t work. However the room was very clean and had a nice feel to it. The hotel in general had quirky decor which was interesting to look at. The breakfast was ok, but we were disappointed there wasn’t any cereal, pastries and other help yourself items. The staff very very friendly and helpful. Overall we enjoyed our stay."

"This Race Course branch of the Chain does everything it says on the tin. Helpful staff, clean rooms, great breakfast choice. Having to fork out for parking is unwelcoming. Outside of race days whats the point.... a few miles down the road the member of the chain doesn't charge. So I go there next time. Otherwise no beefs."

"Nice stay again at The Mill Hotel & Spa for 2 nights. Great Central location for lots of bars/restaurants/shopping/bar walls and nearby North Wales coastline. Comfortable bed, a good size room but a few cobwebs in the room which surprised us as usually it's spotless. Tea & coffee + biscuits in the room plus a fan which we used to cool the room on an evening. Love the bar & staff with a good choice of beers but disappointed with the food menu in the bar & restaurant, very limited choices which...

It was very clean and tidy, the bed was very comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, (in both here and their sister property, Chester court hotel, next door), and the included breakfasts were excellent.
