"Very nice and helpful staff. A parking garage and some shops and restaurants were in immediate vicinity. The hotel is 20-25mins walking distance from Halifax train station, be advised though that the entire walk is uphill since the station is the lowest point of the city. The city itself is very accessible from the hotel with most shops and locations just a few minutes away. Very decently sized rooms with room for your luggage without feeling cramped in."

"Stayed for 1 night in July - despite booking in February, the room we were allocated (303) seemed to be a last resort room. We were in a room in the roof that only had a narrow strip of floor where you could stand up fully - I'm 5'10 so not a giant, but had to walk around with an arm raised to avoid bumping my head. The owner and staff outdid themselves with welcoming us later in the evening and making sure to seat us in the quite lovely dining room for a hot meal before retiring to our spacious guest room upstairs. The room was today and had lots of thoughtful amenities: tea, coffee, a variety of snacks, lots of toiletries. Breakfast was very good and served with warmth and hospitality. Definitely a wonderful place to stay. "

"Everything about our stay was very good. Lovely clean room with everything we needed. Large bath with very hot water . Kettle with tea, coffee , biscuits etc , hairdryer and iron. Dinner was good and the breakfasts were freshly prepared. We enjoyed our drinks in the bar and the prices were very reasonable. Staff Lovely and friendly, will certainly think of returning. "

"It was a great flat. it had everything we would need including eco friendly shampoo and washing up liquid. It was really handy for town and the park. The washing machine worked well and was much appreciated. We managed to get the TV working, and that had loads of stations! Comfortable bed and good shower. Clean and smelt fresh. It's hard to tell exactly what places are like because this site always relies on tick boxes. so it didnt seem to mention that the shower was over the bath. Not very...
