"Our stay was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The whole property was spotless, the facilities were beautiful, the room was probably the nicest one we have ever stopped in, furnished to an extremely high standard and so comfortable. Honestly, don’t even think about looking for somewhere else in the area…you will not find better!! Oh yes, the homemade marmalade at breakfast is to die for too!!!"

"The hotel is lovely and located well. The only criticisms were the very creaky floor and very noisy coffee machine. A kettle would be great, a lot quieter than the coffee machine."

"We were kept waiting at check in while the person on reception finished typing an e-mail. No acknowledgement of our existence whatsoever. We had read other reviews which said 'avoid room 44'. Guess what room we were given ? We requested a change of room, and were given room 45, next door ! Comfy bed was a plus. Breakfast was adequate. "We have just had the most incredible stay since the minute we arrived on Friday. The staff couldn’t be more helpful or friendly. Jasmine in the Spa is deserving of a special mention. As someone who rarely gets treatments, I was very unsure of myself she immediately put me at ease as well as delivering the most relaxing salt scrub.
