"Our room at the Lodge was just about ok given the price we paid. At first glance it looked good but we soon became aware the amount of traffic it sees in the form of worn carpet, scratched furniture etc. Worst of all was the bed. A partially collapsed mattress with rounded edges where hundreds had sat before, and no box spring, this thing should have been thrown out long ago. "We did not eat at the guest house. One thing I will mention is the locatio . Be prepared to pay for Oxfords new congestion charges!! Parking was fine, location was great, bus route into central Oxford and hospitals was excellent. Great pub 3 mins walk down the road called The Brittania. Great traditional pub food. "
