Avani+ Riverside Bangkok Hotel
We liked the location of the Avani. Rooftop bar and restaurants were quite good. Our two issues, although they appear insignificant, did matter. We requested a 2nd luggage rack for our suitcase, only to be told we had to “make one”? Bottom line, no luggage racks available. So if you are two people ...

Solitaire Bangkok Sukhumvit 11
The property is in a very cool area of town but it’s a dated hotel with a mildew smell. The hotel classifies itself as luxury but I would give it 3 stars at best.
