Tiny place to find but had everything we needed. Enrico was really helpful explaining where was safe and advising where was best to see. Room was small but had everything you needed with even a small balcony. Lift was a bit creepy ( like tower of terror) but served its perpous. I would def stay here again and for a few days where it’s clean safe and a perfect location it’s ideal

Location is the selling point. It does the job - very basic, fairly small, beds were comfortable and water pressure was good. Walls were thin - if you’re a light sleeper, it’s not a great choice. The door to our bathroom didn’t close fully, which was odd but workable.

Pros: Good location, clean Cons: hard to find. There is no name or building number on the outside. They store the clean laundry in the hallway which makes it hard to walk by with luggage. The WIFI did not work in our room nor could we get signal for our data.

Good location, close to shops, restaurants and public transportation. However, this is not a hotel its run like a poor quality rbandb we had no power for a day in a extremely hot day. Food in refrigerator went bad and no discount was offered considering the inconvenience of not having AC. Room did not get cleaned for 2 days, no change of towels and or replenished of toiletry items took place. Only one staff member went above and beyond of the expectations the other ones zero.

We weren’t informed that the lift wasn’t working and lugging a suitcase up four flights of stairs wasn’t easy! A kettle in the room would have been nice! On a positive note the staff were really nice and very polite,the room was clean and being in a city remarkably quiet and very convenient for travelling around.

The Building has no indication that it is a hotel. You wouldn't know it unless you know the address. There is no lobby as the hotel part of this building starts on the 4th floor. The absolute worst part was the elevator did not work, so had to carry 2 full bags up 4 floors. the our room was 1 more up on the 5th floor. this was a brutal walk up and down for older folks like us. Staff was nice, thankfully and the room was clean.

Fontanella was perfect for our stay in Barcelona! The location is so convenient for accessing everything we wanted to see, the staff was very helpful and friendly and the room was comfortable and clean! Only downside was how small the room was but we knew that beforehand and it had everything we needed with a great little balcony and view of the street.

Good for a couple of days

Ideal location. Last minute business trip so expectations weren’t high. Room was clean and suitable for a couple of days. A bit of noise from the corridors so bring ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper. Good food spots nearby and close to the metro which is easy to use too.
