Great room, great price

The stay was excellent, room was great and even on the 1st floor the noise was non existent. Great access to the port, the aquarium and the zoo. Really comfortable and clean room with very helpful staff.

We had a great 3 night stay at Som nit port Vell, rooms cleaned everyday with fresh sheets and towels. Great location also. Everything in walking distance. Highly recommend for city break weekenders 10/10

Great place in Barcelona

This was a very nice place and centrally located to the beach and a short walk to the Gothic area. Lots of great food and drinks close by. There were 4 of us and it was a little on the small size, but to be honest, it was not an issue; we were out and about most of the time. The place was very clean and updated. We would return.

It is very close to the beach around 15 minutes walk. 75 minutes walk to Casa Mila area. Tons of restaurants and bars downstairs. This also makes it quite noisy at the night time.

Good stay!

Overall a very good stay! The hotel was in a good location and the staff was very friendly and helpful. You could hear some noise from the hallway and from the streets, but it did not bother us and did not affect our sleeping/comfort. No shampoo in the shower, but they provide soap and a hairdryer in the room. The safe and the fridge came in handy. There is a decent restaurant right downstairs.

Good location, friendly staff, good aircondition.

Great location and friendly staff. Minor stuff missing in the room it self. Only one chair in the room (for four people) and no trashbin in the room (only in the bathroom). A small fridge is available for your own food and beverages and nice a quiet at night. Aircondition in the room is working well. Nice bathroom.

If I recall correctly, Anna was the name of the woman who checked us in. She was friendly and helpful. Room was small but clean. No elevator so we had to carry bags up a flight with Anna's assistance.

Staff was accommodating and helpful. Housecleaning each day was lovely. They provided kettle and blanket on request. Absolutely loved the location and decor. A few cups or coffee machine would go a long way. Definitely noisy due to the restaurants below so bring earplugs. One night some guests woke us up and were loudly moving things above us but all in all I would gladly stay again. We had four beds for two adults and 2 kids

The room I was staying on had a bad smell in the bathroom and I had to sleep with the window open. The restaurant downstairs is very loud until late hours and they start moving chairs again early in the morning. I could not get a good night’s sleep and eventually had to move to a new hotel for my last night. The staff was friendly, I’m thankful for that. But I would not recommend anyone to stay there to be honest.

This hotel is amazing! Technically not a hotel b/c there is no food or night staff, but it was perfect! The location was amazing! We walked to Old Town, the Gothic Quarter, shopping, meals and night clubs. Very safe. Any nearby hotel would have been double or triple the price. My husband and I stayed with our 22yr daughter & 18yr son in the family suite. It was clean, spacious and we overlooked the harbor. The staff was top notch. Very communicative and accommodating. Som Nit Port Vell is one of Barcelona's best kept secrets. PS Can Paixano is a 1 minute walk for a 3€ sandwich and 6€ bottle of champagne. So fun!

Very great experience

The Som Nit Port Vell hotel is a really good hotel. The location is perfect. We stayed for a night, the lady at reception is kind and helpful. The free WiFi is very fast, and the sound proofing on the listing didn’t disappoint! If the window is open, you can hear everyone and the commotion outside. Once you close it, you can’t hear anything happening outside. The price for the room is also very great, I’m shocked at how low the price was for such a modern and futuristic room. The bathroom is great and there is a hair dryer supplied. I would really recommend this hotel. You can put the hotel room keys onto your phone with the app. No issues at all with the hotel. Great experience

Good hotel in great location near the water/beach front. Do be aware that after 2000, check in is done at a different hotel so near that in mind if you are alone with a lot of luggage. Just to note too, there is no lift within the building. Our room had a Juliette balcony, and was near a late running bar/club. We could hear the music from the establishment up until around 2am through the double panes glass. It was noticeable but not horrible. The refrigerator, while convenient to have, wasn't the coldest. Or really cold for that matter.

I requested a room change or immediate fix for the toilet sink issue(The sink remained full of water, reaching up to the edge without draining) as I needed rest. The hotel promised maintenance in an hour, but they never came. The kind lady at the front desk attempted to fix it but couldn't. It was inconvenient having hotel staff repeatedly enter my room while I tried to rest. Additionally, the room wasn't soundproof, and outside noise disturbed my sleep. On the bright side, the reservation had easy access to many restaurants and walking areas nearby.

Being our first time to vaca in Europe, we were taken aback by a few things: hotel difficult to find due to being tucked in big building, no elevator (luggage got heavy after 1st flight of stairs), and the room was much smaller than the website image led me to believe. Now with that being said, the staff was kind, helpful and very patient with our lack of knowledge. The room was very clean and had everything we needed. There was a restaurant under the hotel, which was a concern for noise, but we never heard anything from the establishment. All in all, I would definitely stay here again!
