"The hotel is a striking and unusual building, very handsome, though we would have appreciated better signs - the rooms in the 400s, which had to be accessed through the library, were difficult to find when first arriving. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and we appreciated the location of the hotel, near the seafront sights (the Mary Rose museum, Nelson's flagship Victory, etc) and the ferry ports. Everything clean and well maintained."

Perfectly fine for our one night stay on a Sunday night and very central for tower, boat trip , dockyard, outlet stores etc. We tried Pho ( vietnamese style) just on the front of the Gunwharf Quay and loved it for our evening meal. "The hotel is really close to The Historic Dockyard, the reason for our visit and had a vacancy. The room was great, lovely comfortable bed with good quality bedding and towels. "We stayed one night as part of a cycle around the Island. The beds were comfortable, room was warm , ample breakfast and good cycle storage.
